This is "Depth Charge" The Great White Shark. and Captain Lewis' obsession. The Captain's goal is to tag and study this feared fish which has been unchanged for millions of years.
Unfortunately, for the crew of the "Albatross," this "Perfect Eating Machine" has been designed for one purpose; to someday know what chicken tastes like.

"Depth Charge", what a great name for a shark. I really enjoyed this sequence of panels and look forward to seeing more adventures below the surface. He's lovable, misunderstood, and has an attitude, probably the long lost cousin of an ant-eater.

I think so too. Look for a couple of dailies and a Sunday page coming soon featuring DC and his unending appetite. I think you meant to say that he's the long lost cousin of Any-eater, and that's true. He did know of an Ant eater in another strip but the resemblance is coincidental, sort of.
